We are currently looking for a Electric Vehicule Technician.
 

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE:

  • Participate in the design of a 100% electric vehicle and in prototype testing and validation activities

  • Perform diesel-to-electric vehicle conversions by installing components according to engineering drawings and specifications while adhering to established safety standards

  • Support the diesel vehicle assembly team, propose process improvements, and assist with electrical work as required

  • Provide technical support at mining sites and deliver training when needed

  • Ensure compliance of assembly drawings and customer-specific configurations

  • Participate in updating electrical drawings and documentation

  • Recommend improvements aimed at reducing assembly time and increasing efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices

  • Complete all required reports and documentation

  • Foster a positive team environment through a collaborative and professional attitude

 

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:

  • A Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, and/or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Electromechanics, and/or a recognized training program in electric vehicle technology

  • Strong automotive electromechanical skills

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (an asset)

  • Knowledge of electric vehicles (an asset)

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and electrical wiring and assembly schematics

  • Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. Equivalent qualifications may be accepted depending on the candidate’s educational background and experience
