Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit childcare centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and
Renfrew. The Renfrew location is based out of St Thomas Catholic School on First street. We offer
Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.
We require:
2 School Age Teachers when our current School Age Staff relocate to a new build. One candidate must be RECE
1 Summer Resource Teacher for our School Age Program
4 Summer Teacher Assistants
The rate of pay for these positions is $21.73 up to $28.00 for qualified candidates (inclusive of all wage grants for qualifying hours) plus 4% holiday pay.
This posting is for an already existing positions, except the summer students, they are yearly, and it requires:
REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered with the College of ECE, and in good standing for the School Age RECE Teacher
• Experience with young children
• Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
• Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Proof of up-to-date immunizations and the ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
• WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)
Recommended:
• Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
Considered an Asset:
• Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
• Experience with children with special needs
