Aircraft Cabin Modifications
Avianor, for its A220 Center of Excellence in Mirabel, is seeking its next Project Manager – Engineering.
Salary: 85–100K $ | Work mode: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and certifying aircraft cabin modification projects in a collaborative environment involving Sales, Operations, Production, Purchasing, and Customers.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage engineering and certification activities

Define and coordinate technical deliverables while ensuring timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance

Lead design reviews, concept validations (analyses, tests, prototypes), and certification processes (TCCA, FAA, EASA)

Approve technical documentation (drawings, instructions, structural reports, weight & balance, flammability, test plans, publications)

Manage project risks, KPIs, and change requests

Define subcontracting strategy and oversee external partners

Maintain internal and external communications and provide clear project visibility

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
You will assume full ownership of your projects.
Required Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred)

Minimum 6 years of experience in technical project management

OIQ membership or eligibility (asset)

PMP certification (asset)

Fluent in French and English

Strong understanding of aerospace certification standards and processes

Leadership, analytical skills, rigor, and team orientation
