Ramp Agent

💰 Hourly rate: $20 to $30 (based on experience)

Under the authority of the Maintenance Manager, the Ramp Agent plays a key role in ground operations by ensuring the safe movement of aircraft, proper handling of equipment, and support of hangar activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate ground service equipment such as towing tractors, company trucks with GPUs, lavatory servicing carts, jet start units, etc.

  • Perform aircraft pushback operations in and out of the hangar and on the apron

  • Operate GPUs, heaters, and jet start equipment for hangar operations

  • Transport equipment between hangars using regulated airport service roads

  • Support aircraft defueling operations

  • Ensure all equipment (trucks, tow vehicles, heaters, etc.) is clean, functional, and properly fueled

  • Provide general support to hangar operations as required

 

Work Schedule

Two shifts available:

Shift 1:

  • Sunday to Tuesday: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Wednesday: 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Shift 2:

  • Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

  • Thursday to Saturday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

 

Requirements

  • Hold a valid YMX ramp pass or be eligible to obtain one

  • Hold a valid Class D driver’s license (YMX) or be eligible to obtain one

  • Flexible and adaptable to daily operational needs

  • Available to work assigned shifts

  • Willing to work overtime when required

  • Bilingual (French and English)
