🛠️ Your role as chief surveyor
You oversee the daily operations of the surveying team, ensure the quality of the data produced, and maintain the efficiency of the service across all projects entrusted to CADAX. More specifically, you will be expected to:
- Mobilize the team, promote skills development, and provide effective supervision
- Coordinate schedules, site assignments, vacations, and unexpected events
- Ensure that work complies with industry standards and contractual requirements
- Manage the surveying equipment fleet: purchasing, maintenance, calibration
- Work closely with calculators, engineers, foremen, and project managers
- Perform calculations and modeling to support field execution
- Supervise “as-built” surveys and update the base surveying networks
- Ensure survey consistency, proper naming conventions, and data classification
- Participate in budget management: invoicing, expense approvals, special purchases
🟢 What we’re absolutely looking for in you:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Education in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field
- Strong skills in team management and planning
- Proficiency with surveying instruments (Leica, Trimble) and software
- Solid understanding of industry standards and requirements
- Inspirational leadership, rigor, and autonomy
- Valid driver’s license
