JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - INNOVATION & ECOLOGY (410-363-LA).
This course develops the concepts and processes for the management of the supply chain and the potential effects of emerging technologies on the supply chain. Students will explore the interrelation between the purchasing process, mode of transport, and warehousing of goods as goods travel through the supply chain. Students will also explore the potential effects of emerging technologies on supply chain management and the importance of delivering a green supply chain.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a thorough knowledge of supply chain management in theory and practice.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience, or a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.
