JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course CYBERSECURITY INCIDENT MANAGEMENT (420-B07-LA).

In this course, the students will learn how to manage cybersecurity incidents in a way that minimizes the impact on the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company information and services.
By the end of the course, students will be able to develop and implement a response plan to various types of incidents in order to quickly identify and analyze the incident, contain compromised systems to reduce the risk of data leakage or hacking to other platforms, and eradicate the cause of the incident.
Finally, they will produce a report detailing the incident, the findings and the recommendations to prevent a similar incident from occurring again.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have thorough knowledge of cybersecurity.
Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline with at least four years of experience in infrastructure security and defense (in-depth and applied knowledge in hacking techniques, as well as in developing response plans and procedures to deal with cyber security threats and attacks).
Experience in teaching an adult clientele is an asset.
This course is given in English; profiency in English is required.

This course will be delivered online. The selected candidate must have the ability to deliver a course online.
