JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course BUSINESS CYBERSECURITY MANAGEMENT (420-B08-LA).
This course enables the students to link all the notions acquired during the training program. It consists of an integration project within which the students will be responsible for the security of a network.
They will have to defend it against intrusions, secure it by adding access control measures, characterize the attack surface and make a risk analysis of it.
In addition, students will have to produce a compliance report in accordance to the security policies of the fictitious organization they are responsible for.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have thourough knowledge of cybersecurity.
Must demonstrate previous experience with business security compliance reporting.
Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline with at least four years of experience in infrastructure security and defense (in-depth and applied knowledge in network architecture, privilege management, defense techniques and cryptography).
Experience in teaching an adult clientele is an asset.
This course is given in English; profiency in English is required.
