JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE CONTRACTS (221-008-MA).

This course will enable students to hit the ground running by carrying out various tasks central to their job function. Whether listing a residential immovable for sale, or setting up a purchase or rental process, they will have to apply the various legal rules and consult the relevant source documents. They will be able to select, from all available forms, those that best meet the needs of a given situation. To perfect their technique, students will use simulations of real-life situations to draw up various mandatory and recommended forms in accordance with the appropriate rules that reflect the client’s wishes. They will also be able to incorporate special clauses into these forms according to the situation and needs expressed. By the end of this course, they will be able to analyze and prepare forms, and to explain them in easy-to- understand language. They will also be able to keep their records and registers up to date in keeping with regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a thorough knowledge of how to apply the legislation related to residential real estate brokerage contracts.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and be a licensed Lawyer or Notary in Quebec.
This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English required.
Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.

Tuesdays 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

(October 3, November 7 & December 5 ONLY )

This course is delivered with a hybrid delivery model: For each course, 20% of course hours will be given in-person and 80% of course hours will be delivered online/at distance.
The specific in-person dates will be determined in collaboration with the hired instructor.
The selected candidate must have the ability to deliver a course online.
The schedule and course dates may change based on the needs of the program.
