Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (35 hours per week onsite at the College). Overtime and schedule changes may be required during peak periods.

POSITION
Champlain College Saint-Lambert is seeking the services of an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AGENT, CLASS I for a regular full-time position in the Department of Continuing Education.
FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Operations Manager of Continuing Education, the incumbent will perform a range of relatively complex administrative and clerical functions, including reception duties, in support of the courses, programs, and services offered by the department, in accordance with established methods and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide excellent service to our clientele and the public in answering inquiries both verbally and in writing that can include but are not limited to: greeting onsite visitors, phone calls, emails, videoconferencing, etc.
2. Perform administrative tasks such as registration, preparation of certificates and diplomas, and the processing of student dossiers.
3. Transcribe and format texts, create tables and graphics, keep databases and records up to date, book appointments, organize meetings and / or events and keep the program documents and information up-to date.
4. Seek out and collect information to be included in correspondence or reports; gather, classify and archive files as per established procedures.
5. Participate in the preparation and contribute to the implementation of departmental events such as conferences, fairs, open house and graduation ceremony.
6. Perform other administrative tasks related to the Continuing Education offce, as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Must possess a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in an appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES), or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
Experience
Must possess at least one (1) year of pertinent experience.
Other requirements
Must be able to communicate proficiently in both English and French (verbal and written).
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Asset
Comfortable with the Microsoft 365 environment.
Required Tests
Candidates will be required to submit to language tests as well as Word and Excel tests.

COMMENTS
The selected incumbent will be required to work in English in order to better serve faculty, staff and students.
