JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPORT: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (410-140-LA).
This course explores the role of human resources within organizations, including the relationship to the labour market.
Students will learn to accurately describe organizations and labor markets, understand the role of an HR support agent, analyze work functions and conditions, explore management trends, explore the tasks, responsibilities and working conditions of the role, and identify the skills associated with the work function.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a thorough knowledge of typical organizational structure and human resource management, including the working conditions, skills and attitudes required within an HR service.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with a minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in human resources.
Experience teaching an adult clientele is an asset.
