JOB DESCRIPTION
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course EXCEL FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS (410-083-LA).
Excel is the most widely used software in the transportation and logistics industry. This course develops the use of Excel functions to achieve tasks commonly encountered in the field of T&L.
Students will apply formatting, basic calculations and functions, graphics, conditions, filters/sorting and pivot tables to analyze and communicate transportation and logistics problems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Excel, particularly as it applies to the transportation and logistics industry.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience, or a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.

Wednesdays 9-12
(Oct. 21 & 28; Nov.11 & 25; Dec. 2 & 9; Jan.13 & 27; Feb. 3)
Thursday 9-12
(EXCEPT: Oct. 22; Nov. 26; Dec. 24 & 31; Jan.7)
This course will be delivered in person.
The selected candidate must have the ability to deliver a course online, should the delivery mode change due to unforseen circumstances.
The schedule and course dates may change based on the needs of the program.
COMMENTS
This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
