POSITION
Champlain College Saint-Lambert is looking to hire Exam Invigilators for the Student Access Center (Adapted Services). The Exam Invigilator is responsible for conducting and ensuring the integrity of each examination.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Invigilate examinations in accordance with the SAC instructions and procedures;
- Respond to any examination irregularities immediately;
- Implement the exam rules and regulations and remain vigilant throughout the duration of the examination;
- Inform students of the rules on possessions permitted during examination and handle queries raised by students;
- Communicate with teachers as required;
- Check identity and attendance during examinations; record details of late arrivals and ensure that proper duration of examination is followed;
- Report any issues of inappropriate behavior or issues relating to academic integrity to the special education technician, exam administrator, or the administrative officer.
REQUIREMENTS
- Available to work up to 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule (this will vary greatly depending on the time of year). October, December, March and May are our peak months.
- Ability to enforce the guidelines and procedures of the exam process.
- Intermediate computer knowledge is required. Invigilators will be trained on a number of platforms (Omnivox, LAN School, Antidote, WordQ).
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality in all matters.
COMMENTS
The selected incumbent will be required to work in English in order to better serve faculty, staff and students.
