We are seeking a Used Car Department Manager. You will be responsible for driving sales, achieving and exceeding targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of sales consultants and collaborate with the finance, marketing, and after-sales service departments to optimize performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Define, implement, and monitor the sales strategy for certified and non-certified used vehicles.

Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team; set individual and team objectives and ensure talent development.

Manage the sales pipeline and the entire sales process from appraisal to delivery, using CRM tools and performance indicators.

Optimize inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing/leasing programs to maximize margins and inventory turnover.

Collaborate with after-sales service and marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience and positive customer feedback.

Ensure compliance with sales practices, ethics, and customer satisfaction standards.

Analyze performance, prepare regular reports, and propose corrective actions.

Participate in recruitment and ongoing training of the team.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales management, ideally in used vehicles.

Proven expertise in team leadership, coaching, and performance development.

Strong knowledge of financing and leasing processes and the ability to propose tailored solutions.

Excellent negotiation skills, customer service orientation, and results-driven mindset.

Proficiency with CRM and performance analysis tools; strong command of Excel and POS systems.

Excellent communication skills in French; English is an asset.

Valid driver’s license and availability to work according to operational needs.
