Role Description

Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the incumbent is responsible for promoting the development and growth of Christie Innomed's business portfolio. The main function will be to sell solutions from the imaging equipment portfolio (radiography, mammography, interventional xray, fluoroscopy, surgical c-arm, etc. ) both to hospitals and private clinics. The successful candidate will have to establish important business relationships in order to achieve his sales objectives.

The incumbent will also be instrumental in helping to plan installations and provide after-sales service to their customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement business strategies to establish successful business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with established clients.
  • Organize ad hoc visits to current and potential clients;
  • Have very detailed knowledge of the product as well as in-depth knowledge of the needs of your customer. Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming to achieve and/or exceed sales objectives;
  • Inform the customer of new products and services as they are introduced. Recommend products and services that match the customer's needs;
  • Provide ongoing support to customers by ensuring they receive high quality customer service;
  • Serves as a point of liaison between customers and the different departments of the company;
  • Be actively involved in the quote process and submission production;
  • Support the technical service team during complex cases, but also help sign service contracts when required;
  • Actively involve in conferences, customer presentations and site visits;
  • Continuously update sales projects in the centralized software (CRM).

Job Requirements

Qualifications required

  • College or university diploma in a relevant field;
  • Minimum of three years of experience in capital equipment or medical sales
  • Relevant experience in customer support and training;
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written;
  • In-depth knowledge of Ontario hospital marketplace and procurement process
  • Significant territory travel (regional position with travel required up to 50% of the time; internationally: occasionally);
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
