Role Description
Summary
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will ensure the rigorous execution of recurring accounting tasks, the processing of financial data, and the preparation of basic management reports. You will also contribute to certain financial analyses and maintain data quality using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, and others (pivot tables, advanced functions, etc.).
Key Responsibilities

Perform monthly accounting entries, including journal entries, adjustments, depreciation, and provisions;

Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes;

Prepare monthly analyses and reports to provide necessary information for the publication of financial results;

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and explain variances;

Enter and verify data in accounting systems;

Collaborate with other team members to maintain the integrity of financial data;

Use Excel to structure, cross-check, and analyze management data;
-
Contribute to the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans;

Support the financial analysis team with ad hoc tasks as needed;

Protect company assets, ensure compliance, optimize resource utilization, and participate in risk management;

Contribute to the overall performance of the finance department by supporting colleagues and demonstrating agility.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

College diploma (DEC) in accounting, finance, or related field. A bachelor’s degree is an asset;

Three (3) to five (5) years of accounting experience, including month-end entries and account reconciliations;

Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written;
-
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, etc.;

Knowledge of Microsoft AX and/or NetSuite is an asset.

Ability to manage multiple accounting files simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
