You will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, calibrating, and installing diagnostic medical imaging systems to ensure their proper operation and to provide exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment in hospitals and clinics

  • Apply Christie Innomed’s policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Provide field service for commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, proactive issue resolution, and preventive maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment

  • Ensure compliance with equipment safety assurance plans and required performance standards

  • Perform maintenance on medical imaging equipment

  • Meet client expectations regarding service quality and communication

  • Complete product documentation, test reports, service records, etc.

  • Manage time and assigned projects effectively

  • Be available on an on-call schedule to support clients outside of regular hours

  • Travel to hospitals and clinics to perform scheduled or unscheduled service activities related to analog and digital X-ray systems, mammography systems, and computer-assisted radiology systems

 

Desired Profile

Qualifications and Experience

  • College diploma in electronics, IT, electromechanics, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintaining medical imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital environment

  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office suite

  • Specific skills in modalities such as radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine; knowledge of PACS, RIS, DICOM systems (an asset)

  • Experience in diagnostic imaging (X-ray, breast imaging, ultrasound – an asset)

  • Experience documenting service activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a multi-vendor service program

  • Experience working with Shimadzu and Konica equipment

  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
