Job Description

Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for promoting the development and growth of Christie Innomed’s business portfolio. Their primary role will be to sell solutions from our portfolio of imaging equipment (radiography, mammography, interventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, etc.) to both hospitals and private clinics.
The selected candidate will need to build strong business relationships in order to achieve sales targets.

They will also play a key role in installation planning and provide after-sales support to their clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement business strategies aimed at building successful commercial relationships and identifying new revenue opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.

  • Conduct regular visits with current and potential clients.

  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and a strong understanding of client needs. Be responsible for the direct sales process with the goal of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Keep clients informed of new products and services as they are launched. Recommend solutions that meet their needs.

  • Provide ongoing customer support by ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the various departments within the company.

  • Actively participate in the bidding process and proposal preparation.

  • Support the technical service team with complex cases and assist in closing service contracts when needed.

  • Take part in conferences, client presentations, and site visits.

  • Continuously update sales projects in the centralized CRM system.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • College or university degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum of three years of experience in capital equipment or medical sales
  • Relevant experience in customer service and training
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • In-depth knowledge of Ontario’s hospital market and procurement processes
  • Frequent travel required within the territory (up to 50% of the time; occasional international travel)
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
