Job Description
Under the supervision of the Regional Service Manager – Ottawa and Abitibi Territory, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of medical imaging diagnostic systems to ensure optimal performance and exceptional support to our customers.
- Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment in hospitals and clinics within the Ottawa and Abitibi territory;
- Apply Christie Innomed policies, procedures, and practices;
- Provide field service for commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, proactive problem-solving, and preventive maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment;
- Maintain medical imaging equipment;
- Meet customer expectations in terms of service quality and communication;
- Complete product documentation, test reports, service reports, etc.;
- Travel to hospitals and clinics to perform scheduled or unscheduled service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography, and computer-assisted radiology;
- Effectively manage time and assigned projects;
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to customer requests outside of regular business hours.
Job Requirements
- College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or another relevant field;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital or medical environment;
- Specific modality experience including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, as well as knowledge of PACS, RIS, and DICOM (an asset);
- Strong mechanical or electromechanical skills;
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds;
- Good working knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating systems, and networks (an asset).

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage stress and adapt to different customer types;
