Role Description

Summary

Based in St-Eustache, the Warehouse and Facilities Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, from receiving goods through to shipping, while also ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of the building. This versatile role combines material handling and inventory management, the safe use of equipment, including forklifts, and facilities management, including coordinating service providers, site supplies, vehicle fleet management, and access badges. The incumbent will also actively contribute to promoting workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders;
  • Pack shipments;
  • Receive incoming inventory;
  • Verify the quantities and condition of received goods;
  • Compare deliveries against purchase orders;
  • Put products away in designated locations;
  • Label products;
  • Perform inventory counts and cycle counts;
  • Move inventory throughout the warehouse (palletized stock);
  • Prepare products for outbound shipments;
  • Operate forklifts;
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers;
  • Store products in racking systems;
  • Conduct equipment inspections;
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas;
  • Promote and implement health and safety initiatives;
  • Facilities Management:
    • Participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the building;
    • Ensure the proper functioning of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other building systems;
    • Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance programs;
    • Collaborate with service providers and external contractors;
    • Manage and coordinate office supplies, site consumables, and facility-related supplies;
    • Participate in the maintenance and coordination of the vehicle fleet (company truck and rental vehicles);
    • Create and manage access badges.
