Who are we?
Located just minutes from downtown Montreal, LUX Air Services Inc. is a growing company operating a FBO/Fixed-Base Operation at St-Hubert Airport (CYHU). LUX also operates a terminal at Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB).
Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. At the beginning, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, Chrono Aviation has a fleet of 15 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.
Role and context
The incumbents of the position alternately and according to operational needs, supervise the proposed staff in the performance of tasks related to the reception, orientation and information of users circulating in the terminal, as well as all tasks related to reception and boarding, in accordance with high quality standards and norms with regard to customer service. Supervisors work days, evenings and nights, both weekdays and weekends.
Key responsibilities
• May be required to carry out all or part of the duties of the team leader and/or the reception and boarding attendant
• Welcoming passengers and providing friendly, proactive and quality customer service
• Solve problems, e.g. those related to passenger complaints
• Managing passenger complaints
• Remove/deny access to anyone who comes to the counter or terminal for reasons of security, eligibility criteria or who may affect the customer experience and refer to security
Key competencies
• Very good command of the French and English languages, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Word and Excel and knowledge of Internet research methods
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (asset)
Specific job requirements
• Working to tight deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks
• Be resourceful and consistent in productivity
• Permanent job of approximately 32 hours per week
• Be available during the day, evening or night, both weekdays and weekends
• Mastering interpersonal relations and communication while promoting cooperation and teamwork
