Schedule : 14/14 rotation – day and night shifts
Work Location : Mining site in Northeastern Ontario
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prioritize health and safety in all crushing plant activities.
- Operate an excavator to perform plant feeding operations, ensuring precise and efficient equipment handling.
- Ensure proper equipment performance by conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition, contributing to site safety and equipment longevity.
- Perform work according to the company’s high standards, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of experience as an excavator operator
- Completed Common Core training
- Professional diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work on job sites and in various weather conditions
- English language knowledge – an asset
- Self-motivated, alert, responsible, and a strong team player
