It means leading the crushing plant directly on site, including coordinating and supporting work crews, controlling costs, updating reports, and planning and organizing work in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper operation of the crushing plant by prioritizing health and safety, fostering team collaboration, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Mechanical Planner, and management team to optimize and continuously improve crushing plant operations.
- Supervise, train, support, and hold the on-site team accountable for both crushing operations and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate planned shutdowns, schedule maintenance and repairs, and proactively ensure proper equipment performance and quality repair work.
- Ensure granular material quality by conducting regular evaluations and adjusting operations as needed.
- Complete administrative duties, manage communications, produce reports, and follow up within required timelines.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for the team, the client, and government representatives visiting the site.
- Communicate daily with the team and gather information related to health and safety, best work practices, and other key operational aspects.
- Effectively manage priorities across multiple mandates simultaneously.
- Prioritize health and safety in all crushing plant activities.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Crushing Foreman
- Completed First-Line Supervisor training
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills in both French and English
- Basic computer skills to complete daily reports
- Highly versatile, resourceful, autonomous, and a strong team player
