As a Mechanical Planner at Dubé, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance work on all crushing equipment in order to optimize production efficiency and availability. You will also be responsible for supplying parts to the site. Duties and responsibilities:
- Prioritize health and safety.
- Develop and implement systematic maintenance programs for crushers, conveyors, screens, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency ;
- Establish maintenance and repair schedules based on priorities, resource availability, and operational constraints ;
- Analyze technical requirements, prepare work plans, define the logical sequence of interventions, and organize scheduled or emergency shutdowns ;
- Work with the purchasing team and the Mechanical Manager to optimize and improve operations related to repair and maintenance planning ;
- Ensure the availability of the resources needed to carry out maintenance work, in particular by collaborating with technical teams, suppliers, and internal departments ;
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), compile maintenance data, write reports, and propose improvements to increase efficiency and safety ;
- Conduct site inspections to assess the scope of work, validate the condition of equipment, and anticipate risks ;
- Document and track maintenance activities performed, including service reports, maintenance histories, spare parts used, etc ;
- Collect and analyze data on mechanical equipment performance to identify trends, recurring problems, and opportunities for improvement ;
- Collaborate with the Mechanical Manager in supervising the team of mechanics and team leaders ;
- Be able to effectively manage the priorities of multiple assignments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical planning or equivalent ;
- Degree in mechanics, electromechanics, or industrial maintenance, or relevant work experience ;
- Valid driver's license ;
- Valid explosives license ;
- Strong communication and team management skills ;
- Advanced computer skills to use technological tools, platforms, software, accessories, etc. ;
- Highly versatile, resourceful, autonomous, and a good team player.
