Duties and responsibilities:
- Integrate health, safety, and quality standards, ensuring that all regulatory and internal aspects are taken into account;
- Calibrate, maintain, and ensure that the plant is operating at full capacity;
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance according to company standards;
- Assess component wear to prevent breakdowns and perform necessary repairs on schedule;
- Test repaired equipment to confirm that it is functioning properly;
- Make recommendations for improvement or efficiency based on experience and recurring situations;
- Organize planned shutdowns: prepare tools and parts and manufacture the necessary parts in advance;
- Set priorities based on supervisor requests and spontaneous needs;
- Participate in training courses to perfect your knowledge and ensure consistent quality of work
- 2 years of experience as a millwright;
- Professionnal diploma in industrial mechanics—an asset;
- Good communication skills and fluency in French and English;
- Highly versatile, resourceful, independent, and a good team player.
