In the role of Project Manager, your primary mandate will be to plan, design, and coordinate all technical and commercial aspects of a client project, while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, specifications, quality requirements, timelines, and budgets. More precisely, you will have to :
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client (follow up on ongoing projects, billing when necessary, budgets, and future projects);
  • Analyze contract documents and requirements;
  • Supervise and coordinate work teams (administrative and on-site);
  • Prepare technical and administrative documents (material lists, transfers to purchasing/workshop, invoicing);
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding part selection, pricing, or other requests;
  • Organize and/or participate in meetings with the administrative team, on-site team, and clients;
  • Manage priorities among the various assigned projects;
  • Prepare quotations in collaboration with the VP of Electrical;
  • Comply with established quality system procedures (file opening, file closing, transfers, invoicing, etc.);
  • Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to ensure compliance with standards;
  • Analyze labor needs for each project with the VP of Electrical and ensure proper training is in place;
  • Ensure that work complies with ISO standards and Excelpro’s requirements;
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Hold a vocational diploma in industrial electricity ;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position ;
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings ;
  • Ability to review and analyze specifications ;
  • Proficiency with Office Suite, ERP systems, and AutoCAD ;
  • Knowledge of CSA, UL, and ISO standards ;
  • Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our partners outside of Quebec ;
  • Familiarity with Dreveen and Maestro software (an asset) ;
  • Hold a valid driver’s license ; 
  • Availability according to project requirement ;
