In the position of Intern Electrical Designer, your primary mandate will be to design, draft, and produce plans and specifications for projects in compliance with applicable standards and codes. More precisely, you will have to :
- Ensure the design of electrical, control, and instrumentation plans;
- Design panels and layout of backplates;
- Make corrections to plans as needed;
- Analyze, compare, and select various components;
- Create schematics for interconnections;
- Draft electrical circuits for equipment automation;
- Provide support to production for equipment assembly;
- Complete documentation such as material lists and tracking files;
- Collaborate with different team members involved in the project;
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes;
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
- Currently being completed a college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent education.
