As a Bid Manager, your primary mandate will be to support sales efforts by coordinating the various stakeholders required during the pre-project phase, with the goal of developing and evaluating solutions that meet client needs. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Assist the sales team in project qualification;
  • Participate in sales team meetings;
  • Plan and participate in client meetings to understand needs and offer solutions;
  • Define scope of work and gather specifications;
  • Plan and coordinate cost estimation and scope drafting;
  • Develop and write commercial and technical proposals;
  • Prepare presentations and sales tools;
  • Coordinate communications and documentation;
  • Plan opportunity handovers to execution teams;
  • Respond to client inquiries;
  • Build long-term client and supplier relationships;
  • Maintain CRM opportunity tracking;
  • Monitor market trends;
  • Communicate clearly with partners and suppliers;
  • Perform any other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
  • College diploma in Industrial Automation or Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production.
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar position (estimation and project management);
  • Member of the « Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec » (an asset)
  • Strong proficiency in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Comfortable with ERP and CRM software;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Ability to read electrical control and power schematics;
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams;
