As a Bid Manager, your primary mandate will be to support sales efforts by coordinating the various stakeholders required during the pre-project phase, with the goal of developing and evaluating solutions that meet client needs. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Assist the sales team in project qualification;
- Participate in sales team meetings;
- Plan and participate in client meetings to understand needs and offer solutions;
- Define scope of work and gather specifications;
- Plan and coordinate cost estimation and scope drafting;
- Develop and write commercial and technical proposals;
- Prepare presentations and sales tools;
- Coordinate communications and documentation;
- Plan opportunity handovers to execution teams;
- Respond to client inquiries;
- Build long-term client and supplier relationships;
- Maintain CRM opportunity tracking;
- Monitor market trends;
- Communicate clearly with partners and suppliers;
- Perform any other related tasks.
- College diploma in Industrial Automation or Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production.
- 3 to 5 years in a similar position (estimation and project management);
- Member of the « Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec » (an asset)
- Strong proficiency in French and English, spoken and written;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Comfortable with ERP and CRM software;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Ability to read electrical control and power schematics;
- Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams;
