Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cut, clean, and trim fish and seafood prior to sale or packaging.
  • Scale fish, cut and fillet it, and remove internal organs using a knife.
  • Inspect fillets to determine the possible number and size of portions, cut portions according to specifications, and place them into containers for weighing.
  • Keep facilities clean, organized, and orderly.
  • Ensure product quality and food safety by maintaining proper storage temperatures and reporting any deviations.
  • Clean and sweep dock and warehouse floors in accordance with quality standards.

Desired Profile :

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fish and seafood industry.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated and humid environment (essential).
  • Ability to maintain a good pace of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 65 lbs.
  • Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation programs and regulations (HACCP, etc.).
  • Commitment to a culture where health and safety are top priorities and compliance with all company and regulatory safety requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in French.
