Job Description: Senior Project Controller – Expertise in Primavera P6

Setec Proxima is a renowned project planning firm specializing in the effective management of complex projects across various industrial sectors. We are seeking a Senior Project Controller with exceptional expertise in Primavera P6 to join our innovative team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out various project control activities to ensure rigorous monitoring of costs, schedules, and scope.

  • Support internal teams in executing project control activities.

  • Provide technical support in specific areas under the supervision of department heads.

  • Execute various mandates related to project control for construction projects in electricity production and transmission.

  • Use industry-standard tools and software, particularly Primavera P6.

  • Work from company offices, remotely, or on various sites, depending on project needs.

  • Comply with confidentiality standards and applicable codes of conduct.

  • Undergo reliability and integrity checks required as part of the mandates.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control, ideally in the construction or energy sectors.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).

  • Excellent knowledge of cost, schedule, and scope management principles.

  • Strong skills with office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) and project management systems.

  • Ability to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and autonomy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French.
