🏗️ About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the execution of a large-scale building construction and renovation project. Reporting to senior management and working with numerous stakeholders, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, management, and monitoring of the project from concept to commissioning.

🎯 Your Responsibilities
As Project Director, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and motivate the internal Project Office team.
  • Foster a collaborative, engaging, and high-performance environment.
  • Coordinate external partners (engineering firms, general contractors, subcontractors, etc.).
  • Plan and monitor all project phases (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
  • Manage project costs, schedules, quality, and risks.
  • Develop and monitor management tools, communication plans, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
  • Represent the company with stakeholders (committees, suppliers, management, etc.).
  • Ensure strict compliance with governance, contractual regulations, and document management.

🧠 Profile Sought

🎓 Education

  • University degree in engineering or architecture.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification: strong asset.

📈 Experience

  • Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in construction project management (including design, construction, and commissioning).
  • Experience in renovating existing buildings and concrete cladding restoration: strong asset.

  • Strong leadership and ability to represent the company’s interests.
  • Solid expertise in collaborative project management.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate numerous stakeholders.
  • Functional bilingualism required (French and English).

🕒 Work Schedule

  • Regular hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
  • Availability required based on project needs: evenings, nights, or weekends may be necessary.

📄 Conditions and Commitment

  • The selected candidate must be available for the entire duration of the assignment.
  • No replacement of the resource is allowed without prior written authorization from the company.
  • The company reserves the right to terminate the contract at its discretion if requirements are not met.
