Setec Proxima is a recognized project planning and management consulting firm, specializing in the successful delivery of complex projects across various industrial sectors. As part of its partnership with Airbus Canada, Setec Proxima is seeking a Procurement / Project Support professional to support procurement activities and project follow-up.

 

Role Summary

The incumbent will support procurement and project management activities by ensuring effective coordination between purchasing teams, suppliers, and project teams. The role aims to ensure alignment between operational needs, procurement processes, and project financial objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and analysis of business cases

  • Monitor suppliers and validate parts compatibility

  • Manage, update, and track project control tools, KPIs, and dashboards

  • Compile and analyze financial data related to procurement activities

  • Facilitate and support project meetings

  • Prepare and present project analyses, reports, and status updates

  • Coordinate operational follow-up among internal and external stakeholders

 

Required Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement / purchasing

  • Experience in project management (an asset)

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and key procurement stages

  • Solid skills in data analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting

  • Ability to negotiate, coordinate, and ensure operational follow-up

  • Professional-level English required

  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail
