Setec proxima, the Canadian subsidiary of setec eocen, supports major industrial players in structuring, planning, and managing complex projects.

As part of our long-term collaboration with Airbus, we are strengthening our project team in Mirabel.

We are looking for a Project Manager ready to grow in a stimulating environment, working within multidisciplinary teams on high-stakes industrial topics.

Your responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will work on a variety of assignments in close collaboration with client teams and internal stakeholders:

Monitoring schedule performance (variances, critical paths, milestones).
Budget tracking: cost indicators, forecasts, variance analysis.
Risk and opportunity management.
Consolidation of project reporting (schedule, costs, risks).
Facilitation of follow-up meetings and coordination of action items.
Contribution to the continuous improvement of project processes.

What we expect from you:

Act as an orchestra conductor and central point of convergence between stakeholders.
Provide a cross-functional view and quality-driven project management with strong operational involvement.
Produce structured status assessments in the form of clear and concise deliverables.
Promote a collaborative dynamic by fostering team spirit and shared leadership.
Coordinate critical deliverables with a strong focus on quality.
Work closely with various units (production, engineering, quality, supply chain, etc.) to understand, synthesize, and align teams around key challenges.
Develop a culture of collaborative leadership.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Development of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) to structure the project and define deliverables.
Creation of the project schedule, integration of the critical path, and regular updates.
Project budget management, forecasting, and cost control.
Progress tracking through interactive dashboards (Qlik Sense, Google Sheets, etc.).
Risk and opportunity management (identification, assessment, mitigation).
Coordination of internal and external stakeholders and facilitation of project committees.
Implementation and monitoring of project governance in accordance with Airbus standards.
Tracking of project KPIs (cost, schedule, quality) and reporting to management.

Your profile:

Proven experience in project management (3–5 years) in complex environments, ideally industrial.
Experience in the aeronautics sector is mandatory. Knowledge of Airbus processes is a strong asset.
Natural leadership with the ability to rally teams without direct hierarchical authority.
Collaborative and communicative mindset, able to bridge the gap between field teams and central functions.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, results-oriented.
Strong interest in operational work and close interaction with the field.
Excellent command of the following tools:

Planisware (schedule, budget, portfolio management)
Qlik Sense (dashboards, data visualization)
Looker Studio (interactive reporting)
Advanced Google Sheets / Excel
Skywise (knowledge preferred)
LBIP+
