Longue Pointe Chrysler is a well‑established automotive dealership known for its professional service, dynamic work environment, and dedicated team. We are looking for a meticulous and autonomous Accounting Technician to join our accounting department. The selected candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the sales department’s bookkeeping.
This role is essential to ensure financial accuracy and smooth administrative operations within the dealership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and perform necessary follow-ups
  • Validate purchase orders and receipts
  • Prepare and record payments
  • Verify account statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and record bank deposits
  • Perform billing and make adjustments as needed
  • Monitor accounts receivable and overdue payments
  • Issue statements and respond to internal and external inquiries
  • Reconcile daily sales for accounting purposes (new and used)
  • Record commissions and financial products before transferring the file to accounting
  • Verify the accuracy of sales files prior to delivery
  • Reconcile sales-related transactions (financing, insurance, etc.) before sending the file to accounting
  • Support the team during month-end and year-end processes
  • Ensure filing and proper maintenance of accounting records
  • Collaborate with other dealership departments

Desired Profile:

  • DEP, AEC, or equivalent training in accounting
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in the automotive industry (major asset)
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Rigorous, autonomous, organized, and discreet
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
