Groupe Automobile Desjardins is seeking a dynamic and inspiring General Manager to lead our Subaru Montréal dealership—a location renowned for its high volume and sustained performance across all departments.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader who can inspire teams, maintain a culture of excellence, and ensure continuous growth in sales, service, and parts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct all dealership operations (Sales, Service, and Parts).

  • Optimize the overall performance and profitability of all departments.

  • Mentor, mobilize, and develop management and sales teams.

  • Implement strategies for sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Cultivate and maintain a strong, professional relationship with the manufacturer.

  • Ensure rigorous management of daily operations.

  • Work in close collaboration with, and report directly to, the Vice President.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience as a Sales Manager, General Manager or Senior Sales Manager.

  • Strong expertise in automotive sales, with a deep understanding of service and parts operations.

  • Excellent leadership skills; mobilizing, results-oriented, structured, and strategic.

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-performance environment.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a constructive relationship with the manufacturer.

Assets

  • Proficiency in Activix, 180, and CDK software.

  • Experience with the Subaru brand or an equivalent manufacturer.
