Main Duties
- Complete aesthetic preparation: Perform meticulous interior and exterior washing of vehicles (carpet shampooing, leather treatment, paint decontamination).
- Finishing and correction (Buffing): Correct minor body imperfections (polishing, waxing, elimination of micro-scratches).
- Visual safety inspection: Perform a basic pre-delivery check (tire pressure, windshield washer fluid level, presence of manuals and spare keys) and report any anomalies to the mechanical department.
- Basic accessory installation: Install aesthetic protections, original floor mats, license plates, or dealership stickers.
- Lot management and logistics: Safely move vehicles around the lot and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years in automotive detailing or vehicle preparation (a major asset).
- Attention to detail: Keen focus on finishing and cleanliness (dealership delivery standard).
- Legal requirement: Valid Class 5 driver's license (mandatory for moving vehicles).
- Reliability: Punctuality, rigor, and ability to work at a steady pace within a team.
