The Automotive Detailer plays a key role in bringing vehicles up to the highest standards of visual quality prior to sale or customer delivery. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workshop environment.
Main Duties
- Perform meticulous interior and exterior washing of vehicles (carpet shampooing, leather treatment, paint decontamination).
- Correct minor body imperfections (polishing, waxing, elimination of micro-scratches).
- Check the general condition of the vehicle before delivery (tire pressure, fluid levels, manuals, spare keys) and report any anomalies.
- nstall aesthetic protections, floor mats, license plates, or dealership stickers.
- Keep the workspace, washing equipment, and overall shop clean, safe, and organized on a daily basis.
- Safely move vehicles around the lot.
Profile Requirements
- Experience in automotive detailing or vehicle preparation (an asset).
- Rigor, thoroughness, and commitment to delivery standards.
- Willingness to actively participate in maintaining shop cleanliness and safety.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (mandatory).
