The Diesel Automotive Mechanic is responsible for performing various inspections, establishing diagnostics, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of Groupe Madysta’s vehicle fleet. He/she must ensure, in collaboration with other Diesel Automotive Mechanics, that all vehicles comply with established standards.
Work Schedule
- Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday;
- 40 hours per week (full-time, permanent position).

Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems;
- Test and verify systems such as engines, transmissions, axles, braking systems, etc.;
- Repair or replace defective components or parts;
- Repair or replace parts of light and heavy road transport vehicles;
- Ensure compliance with various standards (e.g., SAAQ);
- Support cohesion among all departments of the organization;
- Promote and contribute to efforts ensuring a healthy, safe, respectful, and continuously improving work environment;
- Perform any other reasonable and related tasks normally carried out by a Diesel Automotive Mechanic, in accordance with the position’s skills, competencies, and capabilities.
Hiring Requirements
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Automotive and/or Diesel Mechanics;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
