The Assistant Controller supports the Corporate Controller and management in developing and implementing performance indicators and dashboards to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and accounting operations within the company.
In close collaboration with the Corporate Controller, he/she is responsible for the full accounting cycle, preparing financial analyses as well as monthly and annual financial statements for various companies.
Work Schedule
- Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday;
- 40 hours per week (full-time, permanent position).

Responsibilities
- Perform performance analyses;
- Prepare various financial analyses;
- Review and analyze financial information;
- Participate in different accounting processes (payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.);
- Assist in cash management;
- Participate in inventory counts;
- Contribute to the monthly intercompany billing process;
- Support cohesion among all departments of the organization;
- Promote and contribute to efforts ensuring a healthy, safe, respectful, and continuously improving work environment;
- Perform any other reasonable and related tasks normally carried out by an Assistant Controller, in accordance with the position’s skills, competencies, and capabilities.
Hiring Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- CPA designation – Asset;
- Good understanding of a multi-company environment – Asset;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
