The Telecom Rigger is responsible for installing telecommunications equipment (radios, lines, antennas, etc.) and mobile telecommunications structures (cell towers). Work may be performed on towers, rooftops, and within industrial or commercial buildings.

Must be available to work from Monday to Friday (possibility of up to 10 consecutive days).

Travel required to job sites in the Maritimes.
Responsibilities
- Install telecommunications equipment (radios, lines, antennas, etc.);
- Perform work at heights on telecommunications towers;
- Connect and integrate telecommunications equipment;
- Carry out vertical and horizontal movement within steel or wooden structures;
- Perform tasks while fully suspended in the air;
- Use hand and electronic tools safely and effectively;
- Collaborate in maintaining cohesion across all departments of the organization;
- Promote and contribute to prevention efforts for a healthy, safe, respectful, and continuously improving work environment;
- Perform any other reasonable and related tasks normally carried out by a Wireless Technician, in keeping with the skills, abilities, and capacity required for the position.
Job Requirements
- Hold the Health and Safety on Construction Sites certification (ASP Construction);
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
