Technical Assistant – Document Review (Mobility Projects)

Contract: 14-month mandate (with possibility of extension up to 36 months)
Location: Based in Montréal or Québec City

As part of a long-term mandate, Sétec Canada is seeking a Technical Assistant – Document Review to support its teams on a major mobility project. The position is based in Montréal or Québec City, with a hybrid work model, offering flexibility and stability.

 

Your Role

As a Technical Assistant – Document Review, you will play a key role in project coordination. You will act as a central point of contact between technical teams and project management, ensuring the tracking, compliance, and distribution of technical documents.

This position is particularly well suited for junior or early-career profiles looking to grow within a large-scale infrastructure project environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting coordinators and technical experts in the review of documents
  • Ensuring the distribution, traceability, and tracking of project documents
  • Acting as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring deadlines, comments, and documentary deliverables
  • Verifying document compliance with standards, contractual requirements, and project procedures
  • Updating tracking tables and documentary indicators
 

Required Profile

  • 1 year or more of experience in document management, project coordination, or an administrative/technical environment
  • Motivated entry-level candidates interested in large-scale infrastructure projects are welcome
  • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigor
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Interest in technical, engineering, or transportation projects

Assets

  • Experience in infrastructure or public-sector projects
  • Knowledge of document management tools (e.g.: SharePoint or collaborative platforms)
  • Technical or administrative education (DEC, AEC, or Bachelor’s degree – an asset)
