Setec Proxima, the Canadian subsidiary of Setec Eocen, supports major industrial players in structuring, planning, and managing complex projects.

As part of our long-term collaboration with Airbus, we are strengthening our project team in Mirabel. We are looking for a Project Manager ready to grow in a stimulating environment, within multidisciplinary teams, working on high-impact industrial projects.

 

Context

In a structured and demanding aerospace environment, we are seeking a Junior PMO / Project Manager – Engineering Performance to support and contribute to high value-added engineering projects.

This position is suited for a well-organized, curious, and committed individual who is eager to learn, actively engage in projects, and grow in the medium term within engineering project management roles.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, monitoring, and coordination of engineering projects
  • Track milestones, deliverables, performance indicators, and project progress
  • Contribute to engineering performance management (schedule, quality, cost)
  • Manage and structure internal and engineering client requests
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of project processes, tools, and methods
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and performance dashboards
  • Work closely with engineering, methods, project, and performance teams
 

Profile Sought

Education

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in project management within an engineering environment

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in project management or coordination
    or
  • Relevant internships in aerospace or a structured industrial environment
  • Initial exposure to engineering projects or complex programs is an asset
 

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of project management fundamentals
  • Knowledge or initial hands-on experience with project planning and control tools
    (e.g., Planisware or equivalent – junior level accepted)
  • Strong proficiency with office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to structure information and manage multiple topics simultaneously
  • Comfort working in a technical / engineering environment
 

Languages

  • Full professional proficiency in both French and English (bilingual required)
