Document Control Technician | Engineering

Location: Québec – Hybrid
Position type: Full-time – 14-month fixed-term contract (with possibility of extension up to 36 months)

We are seeking a Document Control Technician to support a large-scale engineering and transportation infrastructure project.

 

The role

You will play a key role in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for a complex and structuring project, working closely with technical teams, the client, and suppliers.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, distribute, track, and archive technical documentation
  • Coordinate document workflows for review and approval
  • Monitor schedules and follow up with stakeholders as required
  • Ensure document quality and compliance with project standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of document management processes
     

Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control within a technical or engineering environment
  • Experience on infrastructure or transportation projects is an asset
  • Proficiency with EDMS tools such as Aconex or SharePoint is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and autonomy
  • French required; functional English is an asset

  • 37.5-hour work week, with up to 2 days of remote work per week
