Job Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for prospecting and closing new business opportunities and championing Net New Logo acquisition, nurturing exceptional customer relationships, and managing the entire sales cycle.  Respond to sales inquiries and drive new business via research and outbound calling to businesses.  Extensively understands iTel’s business solutions and products and can represent business-to-business sales by offering value-added solutions for an organization’s needs. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Exceed monthly sales targets by strategically identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients. Your primary focus will be on bringing in new logos and expanding our customer base.
  2. Take full ownership of the sales process, guiding prospects from initial outreach and discovery through to solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  3. Conduct in-depth discovery to deeply understand customer challenges and articulate the unique value and ROI of iTel's managed services, voice, data, networking, cloud, and custom solutions.
  4. Generate new business opportunities through targeted cold calling, strategic outreach to leads, and persistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
  5. Maintain a meticulously organized and up-to-date sales pipeline and customer information in our CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient funnel management.
  6. Identify complex customer needs and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to architect tailored solutions that deliver exceptional value.
  7. Continuously expand your knowledge of iTel's offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to position yourself as a trusted advisor to prospective clients.
  8. Foster strong, trusting relationships with external contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
  9. Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively, upholding our reputation for outstanding service.
  10. Cultivate strong, trusting relationships by consistently demonstrating professionalism, deep product knowledge, and a commitment to client success. You will be the face of iTel, ensuring every client interaction reinforces our reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field plus a minimum of five years’ recent, related experience. Sales experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset.  A combination of education, skills, and experience may be considered.
