Join the 2027 Canada Games Adventure!

Looking for a unique experience where your contribution truly makes a difference? The 2027 Canada Games in Québec are seeking planning volunteers to help organize a nationwide event bringing together over 3,000 high-level athletes and coaches.

As a planning volunteer, you’ll be involved in one of the many key areas of the Games: accommodation, transportation, logistics, guest services, sports, ceremonies, venue operations, and more! No matter your specific role, your contribution will be essential to ensuring a smooth and efficient organization—both before and during the event.

Your Mission

Under the supervision of a sector lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the planning team to prepare the Games and ensure flawless organization.
  • Participating in the development and execution of operational plans within your area of expertise.
  • Coordinating and communicating with other committees and stakeholders to maintain seamless operations.
  • Managing and supporting a team of volunteers during the Games.
  • Identifying and resolving unexpected challenges quickly to ensure the best experience for athletes, spectators, and event teams.
  • Contributing to a post-event report to leave a lasting legacy for future editions.

Your Profile

  • You are organized, proactive, and resourceful.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and communicating with different stakeholders.
  • You can make quick decisions and manage multiple priorities at once.
  • You have an interest in event planning, sports, or project management.
  • Experience in coordination, event management, or logistics is an asset, but the most important thing is your motivation!

Your Commitment

✔ Pre-Games period: Participate in planning meetings and training sessions (depending on your role).
✔ During the Games (February 27 – March 14, 2027): Be available according to a defined schedule.
✔ Flexible schedule, but expect more intense periods leading up to and during the Games.
