The Canada Games are the largest multi-sport event in the country. From February 27 to March 14, 2027, Quebec City will welcome over 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches competing in 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your talent and drive will allow you to:
Planning and Knowledge Transfer
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the Games Operations Centre.
- Collaborate on the creation and delivery of the Transfer of Knowledge program, including the Observers program, to share expertise and inspire future Canada Games.
- Help plan and facilitate training and planning sessions for employees and volunteers.
Administrative Support
- Serve as a point person for the project management software.
- Coordinate and document Board of Directors and committee meetings.
- Prepare agendas and draft detailed minutes.
- Organize executive and internal meetings, proactively managing calendars, invitations, and logistics.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments.
- Support the CEO in planning, coordinating, and following up on day-to-day activities.
- Prepare and maintain tracking tables, calendars, timelines, and internal reports.
- Act as a key administrative resource for office management.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- College or university diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role, ideally with senior leadership or a Board of Directors, or in project management.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Excellent command of French and intermediate English, both spoken and written.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Criminal background check required.
- A master of organization who can juggle timelines, partners, and data without missing a beat.
- Resourceful and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Skilled communicator with tact and diplomacy, acting as a true facilitator within the organization.
- Calm, good-humoured, and adaptable, even when things get busy.
- Ready to embrace the fast pace of the Games, with a flexible schedule when needed.
- Based in the Quebec City region or willing to relocate to be part of the adventure.
