Canada Games: Québec, 2027

The Canada Games are the country’s largest multisport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Québec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role

History is made with the right people. As a Sports and Venues Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operations that ensure competitions run smoothly. If you love action, teamwork, and making a tangible contribution to the success of a major sporting event, this is the challenge for you.
Under the supervision of the Director, Sports and Venues, your talent and energy will enable you to:
  • Assist the Sports and Venues team with planning and logistical needs for each venue;
  • Support competitions by tracking schedules, results, officials, and managing equipment;
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for planning meetings with the Sports and Venues team;
  • Help develop sports procedures and manuals and participate in technical conferences.
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks;
  • Serve as a point of contact to facilitate communication and support between venues;
  • Perform any other tasks deemed necessary for the smooth running of the Games;
  • Addressing unexpected challenges by applying your creativity and energy to find solutions to situations and challenges that arise along the way.
Keys to success

Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:
  • College diploma in event management, sports administration, administrative technology, or any other relevant field;
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Google Workspace);
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good command of French, both spoken and written; English is an asset;
  • Authorization to work in Canada;
  • Criminal background check required.
