Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair underground and surface mobile mining equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical plans.
- Adjust and replace defective parts.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and equipment startup procedures.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with other teams on-site.
Employment Conditions:
- Rotational schedule based on the mining site ( 14-14 ).
- 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night.
- Competitive salary between $38.00/hour and $54.00/hour, based on experience and position.
- Overtime paid at time and a half as per site policy.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Truck and Coach Mechanic.
- Red Seal Certification, an asset.
- Experience in mobile equipment mechanics, preferably in a mining environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, and welding.
- Ability to read mechanical schematics and blueprints.
- Underground or Surface Commoncore Certificate, (an asset).
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum).
- Strong team spirit and adaptability to rotating schedules.
- Experience in the mining industry (strong asset).
