The main responsibility of the Logistics and Pricing Coordinator is to ensure the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of cargo loads across international borders. This includes coordinating, scheduling, managing export documentation, and handling pricing activities for shipments while addressing logistical, regulatory, and documentation requirements, satisfying customer needs, and building long-term relationships with them.

Main Responsibilities including but not limited to
  • Collaborate with clients & understand their needs: cargo details, destination, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and validate shipment quotations, rates, and pricing structures in collaboration with carriers and suppliers.
  • Enter shipment details into US and Canadian customs software platforms.
  • Identify & mitigate potential risks associated with import/export shipments such as customs delay, compliance issues, or disruption in the supply chain.
  • Ensure all required documentation, such as bill of lading or any other customs documents, shipping instructions, proof of delivery are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Keep records of shipments such as documentation, communications, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure that all logistics activities are compliant according to industry regulations.
  • Update customers on the status of their shipments, address any inquiries & resolve any issues.
  • Support management with rate reviews, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role within the transportation industry
  • Post-secondary diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or another relevant field.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages an asset.
