We are looking for skilled, motivated, and dynamic mechanics for a northern construction site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.

Main responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine appropriate work procedures.
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery or mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, boilers, and generators, using hand and power tools.
  • Operate lifting equipment such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, assembly, and repair.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and defects.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Use machine tools, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required for repair, maintenance, or assembly.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Construct foundations for machinery or supervise other workers involved in foundation construction.
  • Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and power tools and welding equipment prior to installation.
  • Perform all other related duties.
